Meet our head baker and founder of Simple Cakes, Louise Ingleton.
After spending 5 years baking cakes for friends, charity and cycling events, Mrs I took the plunge and launched Simple Cakes. Make no mistake though, she’s been baking all her life!
Simple Cakes is all about deliciously unfussy cakes. Nothing beats moist, fluffy cakes, with perfectly balanced flavour and topped off with swirls of icing.

The organic eggs we use in our cakes are laid by our neighbours at The Egg Shed. Supporting the local businesses around us is important to us, especially
right now.
Always being eco-conscious
From using only sustainable palm products (and no palm at all when we can!) to our packaging, being eco-conscious is essential to us. We use packaging that can be recycled, reused, or returned to us for reuse!
Chipping in for charity
We got our start by baking for charity events, like Hook Books. Even as we grow, we still donate our time, talents and cakes for a good cause.
